Storage and handling
Butyl acrylate is flammable and can polymerise if the inhibitor is depleted. Store in closed containers in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat, sunlight, sparks and polymerisation initiators, with air (not nitrogen) in the headspace to keep the inhibitor active. It irritates skin, eyes and airways and can cause skin sensitisation; wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles and suitable protective clothing when handling, and refer to the SDS before use.
