Uses and applications of wollastonite powder
- Ceramics: in wall tiles, sanitaryware bodies and glazes, where it helps lower firing temperature and reduce shrinkage.
- Paints and coatings: as an extender that adds scrub resistance and helps control cracking in exterior paints.
- Plastics and rubber: reinforcing filler that improves stiffness and dimensional stability.
