About E413 Emulsifier

E413 is tragacanth gum, a natural gum obtained from the dried sap of Astragalus shrubs. It forms a thick, smooth gel in water and is used as a thickener, stabiliser and emulsifier in foods, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
